Sanderson Named Co-chair Internet and Privacy Law Committee State Bar of California

San Francisco, CA (November, 1, 2017) - Kronenberger Rosenfeld, a premier legal services firm specializing in Internet law, today announced that Ginny Sanderson, a partner in the firm, has been named Co-chair of the State Bar of California Internet Privacy Law Committee. She has been a member of the committee since 2015.

The Internet Privacy Law Committee is part of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California. Its mission is to connect California attorneys involved in Internet law and to advance the latest developments in intellectual property, privacy legislation, and other advances in the law. The committee is comprised of about 30 members who must have a minimum of five years of practice experience to be on the committee.

“I’m delighted to accept the co-chair position,” Ms. Sanderson said. “I strongly believe in the committee’s mission, especially in light of this fast-moving area of the law. The technology is moving faster than ever and the law must keep pace. I’m committed to helping my colleagues stay informed and this committee is one way to achieve that,” she said.

Ms. Sanderson’s practice includes advisory work and litigation. Her transactional clients include e-commerce merchants, advertising networks, publishers, mobile app and game developers, among others. She advises them on contractual and intellectual property issues, including trademark registration, vendor agreements, licensing and FTC and FDA compliance. She also advises clients who have storefronts on Amazon, Walmart and Sears marketplaces.

She has extensive litigation practice with a focus on enforcing and defending copyright, trademark, intellectual property matters.

Ms. Sanderson graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University in 2005. She was the executive editor of the BYU Law Review. She received a B.A. in film studies from Brigham Young University in 1998. She has also worked in the production end of film and television industry. Prior to joining Kronenberger Rosenfeld, she worked in Los Angeles with a focus on sports and entertainment law. She is a member of the State Bar of California.
